Terrie-Ann Broomfield
Applications Specialist
Terrie-Ann considers herself a student of sorts, always learning a new skill or adapting to a new culture. She graduated from the University of Technology, Jamaica with a BSc. (Hons) in Land Surveying with a minor in Geographic Information Science. She then moved on to the construction industry where she ventured in fields of building surveying and drafting, project management, and pre-construction quantity estimating. She is now focused on completing her Post Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems Applications, and improving on her French.
Xin Wen
Cartographic Specialist
Xin graduated from the University of Toronto in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Geography, City Studies and Geographic Information Systems. After a year of studying at Fleming College, she gained huge insights into the GIS industry and she developed strong spatial analysis and cartography skills. She has extensive experience in GIS and has been using GIS software for 5 years. She is passionate about building a better community with her skills and now she is ready to contribute to the field. She has a French Bulldog and a Weimaraner.
Peggy Wong
Applications Specialist
Peggy completed the Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Psychology and Sociology at University of Alberta in 2018, and she will be completing the Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems at Fleming College in June 2022. Coming from a Social Science background, she is passionate in using GIS technologies to find solutions for social problems and make this world a better place. This project has allowed her to gain real world experience to leverage her practical skills. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, playing games, and learning new languages.
